Her victory at the Thailand Masters in February was over 3 sets and 80 minutes, so that she shouldn’t have too many problems in a slow slow hall.
In the meantime, Marin is decided to regain her gold from Rio. She is the most focused competitor, but it asks a lot for eight years to repeat the victory. I would never bet against the Spaniard, but at the French Open this year she underwent her own standards (lost in R32), but then she jumped back to win all England the following week.
Chen yu and he bing jiao
Can the defending champion keep her medal? In view of her victory against a SE -Jungen at the Indonesia Open a few weeks ago, it looks like she has a good chance. First, however, she has to navigate with her compatriot He Bing Jiao in a probable QF. It is possible that HBJ will bring a surprise, but the chances are stacked against them.
