New -Delhi: Delhis Kshitij Naveed Kaul shot a sensational course record of 10 under 60 to achieve a one-shot lead with a total of 12 under-128 lead in half of the INR 1 Crore Calance Open 2025 on the QUAB Golf course in Neu-Delhi.
The twenty-four-year-old Kshitij (68-60), a winner of four titles who had four shots from the lead after the first round, put together an eagle and eight birdies on Wednesday to increase 22 places and request the lead of the second round.
The legendary Mukesh Kumar from Mow had registered an 11-under 59 on the QUATB-Golfplatz in 2005 on the Quab Golf Course. However, the course was changed again and was changed in 2018.
Chandigarhs Karandeep Kochhar followed his first round of 65 with an even better 64 in round two to move two places in second position with a total of 11 below.
Yuvraj Sandhu, another professional in Chandigarh, shot a second episode of 65 to win a place and end the day to third place under 130.

Kshitij Naveed Kaul collected four birdies at the top when he landed twice within one foot of the flag. Kaul’s first -class driving, pitching, chiping and Puting from long -haul routes helped him to collect an eagle on the 16th and four other birdies on the back linen.
KSHITIJ said: “It was one of these days when I was excellent in all aspects of my game and carried out my recordings really well. I don’t think I did one foot wrong. I have also felt good with my game since the start of the round. I met the places I wanted.
“I concentrated on the process to the end and only on the last hole I realized that I had achieved something special. The fact that I had only played an exercise on this course after it was put back on, put my round even more.”
The 25-year-old carande Kochhar, a multiple winner of the PGTI and a regular Asia tour, made four birdies against a lonely bogey on the back nine. Kocchar then pushed himself forward with three other birdies on the front nine.
Karandeeep said: “I had to struggle with my cute this season, so I tried to make a few changes here and there, but finally I decided in the training round this week to return to something that I made as part of my process earlier. So I have the feeling that my game was pretty solid in the past two days.”
Delhi’s Sachin Baisoya, the winner in Ahmedabad last week, who is currently also taking second place in the PGTI Order of Merit, carded a 69-year-old on the second day to reach with 140 49th 49th place.
