Alexandra Eala from the Philippines takes over the tennis tour for women by storm at the Miami Open 2025.

The 19-year-old left-hander from Quezon City led her through a squad of former Majors champions to achieve her best career result.

While Eala seems to be on the way to becoming the greatest player of all times of the Philippines, which is not considered a nation with a grade in tennis at all, she is not yet considered the best player who is ever played from the archipelago of the islands in Southeast Asia.

This title is initially part of Felicisimo Ampon!

Ampon played in the racetrack in the 1940s and 1950s and his best result was the quarter -finals of the French championships in 1952 and 1953. He defeated Tony Trabert on the way to the French quarter -finals in 1952, 1952, and he struck Ken, and he loosened against Ken against Ken, against Paris against Paris against the quarter Rosebrant lost. He was only 4 feet, 11 inches and is the safest player who was ever played and who was less than five feet big.

Bud Collins, the late great tennis journalist, historian and personality, is ampon, his section “She also serves” in this signature Encyclopedia book “The Bud Collins History of Tennis”, which is for sale here and is downloaded here:
