Prohibition on 14 countries imposed
Saudi -Arabia temporarily banned some visas for India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Egypt, Indonesia, Iraq, Nigeria, Jordan, Algeria, Sudan, Ethiopia, Tunisia, Yemen and another unnamed country. The decision was made after the tragic incidents during the Haj pilgrimage in 2024, in which more than 1,000 people died. Many of these pilgrims had participated in the HAJ without registration.
The condition of the people got worse due to the amount and intensive heat. Against this background, the Saudi authorities have decided that pilgrims will participate in Hajj without registration so that the loss of life and property can be prevented in the future.
Saudi Arabia has started a digital guide to facilitate Hajj and Rare and make it safer, which is available in 16 different languages. The purpose of this initiative is that every pilgrim can receive the right guidelines and there is no problem during his religious journey. Saudi civil servants have also made it clear that those who stay in the country during the Hajj without permission are not allowed in Saudi Arabia for five years.
The officials have addressed all persons to follow the rules and only take action through the correct registration to participate in Hajj so that the trip remains safe and organized.
