Jalen Green and Alperen Sengun teamed up for 65 points, and the Houston Rockets ran a scorching second quarter on Friday with 125-111 victory in Oklahoma City and ended the 11-game victory in the Thunder.
Green scored 34 points, Sengun added 31 and the Rockets (51-27) won for the 14th time in 16 games. Houston achieved a 48-33 rebound edge to keep control after he maintained a lead of 23 points at the end of the second quarter.
Amen Thompson from Houston scored 16 points, eight rebounds and six assists.
Jalen Williams came up and down with 33 points at 13-against-21 shooting. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 22 points and eight templates.
Celtics 123, Suns 103
Jaylen Brown threw 31 points and Boston broke the NBA record for Made 3 pointers in one season during a victory over the visit of Phoenix.
The Celtics set up the record on their eighth Trey of the Game, a 26-foot-from Payton Pritchhard with 8:19 in the second quarter. There was a lead of 44-26. The 2022-23 Golden State Warriors set up the previous record (1,363).
The Celtics made 14 out of 39 shots behind the 3-point arch and ended the night with 1,370 Treys on the campaign. Jayson Tatum from Boston added 23 points, eight rebounds and eight assists. Devin Booker scored 37 points for the Suns, who lost five in a row.
Lakers 124, Pelican 108
Luka Doncic scored 35 points and Austin Reaves added 30 when Los Angeles helped his prospects for a top-four finish in the Western Conference with a win over New Orleans.
LeBron James produced 27 points and eight assists and Jaxson Hayes had 12 rebounds with six points when the Lakers won first place in Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday and Tuesday. The Lakers pulled half a game in front of fourth place in Denver Nuggets.
Jose Alvarado scored 27 points and Karlo Matkovic added 15 for the Pelicans, who only score three wins in the last 11 games. Yves Missi contributed 13 points and 11 rebounds.
Pistons 117, Raptors 105
Jalen Duren had 21 points, 18 rebounds and four blocks and attended Detroit a playoff lounger by playing a season season with four games over Toronto.
Tim Hardaway Jr. added 23 points and Malik Beasley scored 21 for the pistons. Detroits Cade Cunningham (calf), Tobias Harris (heel) and Isaiah Stewart (suspension) did not play.
Yeah’kobe Walter scored 22 points for the raptors. Jakob Poeltl had 10 points, 11 rebounds and three blocks.
Kings 125, Hornets 102
Zach Lavine Goss 25 points with 10 rebounds and Domantas Sabonis collected 24 points and 11 rebounds to help Sacramento with a win with Charlotte.
Demar Derozan scored 22 points for the kings. Ex-Hornets Guard Malik Monk had 17 points from the bank when Sacramento won nine games for the second time.
For the seventh time, the Hornets lost in her last eight games despite 22 points from Miles Bridges. Moussa -Diabate ended with 15 points and 11 rebounds.
Pacers 140, Jazz 112
Myles gymnast scored 26 points and Pascal Siakam added 22 to take Indiana in Indiana in Indianapolis after his third victory in a row.
The Pacers won nine of eleven while holding the number 4 of the Eastern Conference rating. Turner also got seven rebounds and hit six shots, while Siakam contributed five boards, five assists, four blocks and three steals.
Utah dropped an eighth game in a row for the third time this season. The jazz, which has the worst record in the NBA, has lost 18 of its last 19 competitions. Collin Sexton led all goal scorers with 27 points.
Bullen 118, Trail Blazers 113
Coby White and Nikola Vucevic each scored 31 points and Josh Giddey scored his sixth triple double of the season when Chicago defeated a visit to Portland.
Giddey collected 15 points, the best 19 rebounds and 12 assists when the bulls with the Miami Heat achieved ninth place in the Eastern Conference rating at Level.
Deni Avdija scored 37 points and 11 rebounds and Dalano Banton contributed 21 points for the Blazers who ended a 2-3 road trip.
Warriors 118, Nuggets 104
Stephen Curry bombed in a game high of 36 points, Brandin Podziemski and Jimmy Butler III, together for 45 more and Golden State Denver in San Francisco.
The Warriors achieved their fifth victory in a row to climb the fourth nuggets in the Western Conference Playoff Chase within half a game. Podziemski had 26 points to supplement Curry’s third game in a row with 36 or more.
A third defeat in a row, Denver dropped four games behind the second -placed Houston Rockets with only four remaining games. Nikola Jokic led the nuggets with 33 points, 12 rebounds and nine assists.
Cavaliere 114, Spurs 113
Donovan Mitchell scored 26 points and Evan Mobley added 25 points and 12 rebounds when Cleveland did just enough to hit hosts San Antonio.
The Cavaliers won their third competition in a row and reduced their magical number to achieve the best record in the Eastern Conference. Devin Vassell led the Spurs with 24 points. Harrison Barnes added 23.
Cleveland was 23 points at the end of the second quarter and at halftime at 5 p.m. before the Spurs cut it to 88-82 in the third. In the fourth place, barn’s two-to-rang-3 pointer got in to bring San Antonio within one point with 28.6 seconds before playing, but Barnes missed a competitive and drove in the Summer.
Clippers 114, Mavericks 91
Kawhi Leonard had 20 points and triggered an early run when Los Angeles in Inglewood, California, drove past Dallas.
The Clippers won 10 of their last 12 games. Ivica Zubac and Norman Powell each had 14 points for Los Angeles, and Zubac won 13 rebounds. The Mavericks produced the lowest point of the season.
Dallas played without Anthony Davis, who scraped late due to an Adductor tribe, and Klay Thompson and Jaden Hardy were injured for injuries. Naji Marshall led the Mavericks with 22 points.
