The English winger Ryan Kent was able to give his MLS debut on Saturday evening when the Seattle Sunders make their first visit to San Diego FC.

The Sounders (1-2-3, 6 points) signed Kent-a Free Agent after he ended his contract with Fenerbahce in Turkey last autumn-to fulfill an emptiness that attacks injuries against striker Jordan Morris and attack on midfielder Paul Arriola.

It is unclear how many minutes the former Glasgow Rangers star could play after having been out without games since October. However, Kent believes that his role for his new club will be an excellent and simple fit.

“To hear that the coaches say that they are looking for an exciting player, I was excited in a way,” said Kent, 28. “

The sounds certainly need this after they have been excluded in half of their league games and only scored once in the three games in the three games since a 5-2 Blowout victory against Los Angeles FC.

The Expansion Club San Diego (3-1-2, 11 points) has had its first home win and an urgently needed attack outbreak in a 3-2 triumph over LAFC last weekend.

This explosive game came before half-time, and the hosts stormed into a 3-0 lead before they were late against 10-man LAFC.

Onni Valakari scored his second career -Mls goal and had a lead, while Alex Mighten added his first in the league. The Mexican Star Hirving “Chucky” Lozano came to his first campaign too late since he carried out a thigh pollution at San Diego a month ago.

But even for the joy and facilitation of the first home victory in club history, the MLS team had a feeling that it should make even more danger.

“The challenge for us is now how we can repeat them for 90 minutes.” Mighten told the San Diego Union tribune this week. “We are more than capable. We have amazing players, an amazing style of play. We just have to be relentless.”
